Dear Parents and Carers,

It is an absolute privilege to welcome you and your child to Cyfarthfa Park Primary School as your new Headteacher. I am deeply honoured to step into this role and lead such a nurturing and welcoming school community. I look forward to working closely with you as your child grows, learns, and flourishes with us over the coming years.

Formed through the proud amalgamation of Brecon Road Infant School and Cyfarthfa Junior School, our school family operates across two dedicated sites: our Foundation Learning department at the Norman Terrace site and our Key Stage 2 department at the Cyfarthfa Park site. Across both locations, our goal remains singular: to nurture happy, confident, and ambitious learners in an environment where they feel safe and inspired.

At Cyfarthfa Park, we believe that education is about inspiring curiosity, fostering resilience, and developing the whole child. Our dedicated staff work tirelessly to create well-crafted, engaging learning environments where children feel motivated to discover and achieve. Alongside high academic standards, we place strong emphasis on social development, kindness, and mutual respect, encouraging high standards of behaviour across our entire school community.

Children thrive best when school and home work in genuine partnership. Whether your family is joining our community for the very first time or returning for another exciting academic year, your involvement, voice, and encouragement are vital to our shared success.

Our doors are always open to you. Whether you have a concern to share, a particular skill to offer, or simply want to catch up on your child’s progress, you will always find a supportive and approachable team waiting for you.
