Important Days
Important Days
PE will take place on a Tuesday afternoon. Please send your child in our school PE kit and outdoor shoes. Starting Monday 28th September, swimming lessons will be every afternoon for 2 weeks.
Reading books will be changed and given out on any day once read. Please listen to your child read regularly and write a comment in their journal so we know they have been listened too. If you feel your child is ready to move up a level, please write a note and we will listen to them in class and re-assess.
Homework will be sent out via Google Classroom every Friday. We will no longer issue weekly spelling tests and Spelling Shed will be utilised daily in class. If you need your childs log in for Classroom please let me know.

We have lots to be excited about this term. Our topic this term is 'Lights, Camera, Action'. Our key concepts are Creativity, Media and Passion and our enquiry question is 'How do you express yourself creatively?'

Shwmae! Mrs Cooper ydw I. I am the LSA in Dosbarth 12. I have worked at Cyfarthfa Park for 19 years and love spending my day working and playing with the children. I am a busy Mam of two to Harriet & Henry. In my spare time I love long walks with my furry companion Bucky the Dog, watching the Cardiff Devils and I love Harry Potter..... Expecto Patronum!

I have had the joy of teaching at Cyfarthfa Park Primary School since 2018. I have taught both at the Infants and at the Juniors and enjoy teaching all ages.
I have just finished 6 months studying Welsh at Cardiff University and am looking forward to leading Welsh at the school. My other passion is supporting pupils with additional learning needs and support Mrs Cheeke in her role as the Assistant ALNCo.
On the weekends and in the holidays I spend time with my daughter and husband. We enjoy travelling and eating great vegan food!
