Shwmae, Mrs Rees ydw i. I have taught at Cyfarthfa Park Primary for over 20 years. I enjoy spending time with my family- especially my two boys Morgan and Iwan. In my spare time I like to read and go to the cinema. I love to travel on ships- my favourite places in the world are Scotland, Pisa and Montserrat.
Shwmae, Mrs Ceyhan ydw i. During my time at Cyfarthfa Park Primary I have worked at both the juniors and infant sites as a LSA and 1-1. I love spending time with my family and taking my dog Sofia for long walks. I love cooking for my family.
Class information:
We start our day at 8.45 when the main door opens and end our day at 3.10.
Tuesday- Reading books will be sent home on a Tuesday. These are to be returned on a Monday. Please comment on how your child has read in their reading log.
Wednesday- P.E days are Wednesday, please come to school wearing your P.E kit. P.E can take place outside so please wear weather appropriate clothing.
Friday- Homework will be set weekly, online, using Google Classroom.
Please ensure water bottles are brought in daily, labelled and filled with water only.
Children are encouraged to bring a fruit or vegetable to school daily for their morning snack.
We expect all belongings to be clearly labelled.

Explore part-whole concept.
Wider Maths- 2D shapes. Naming them / building with them / finding shapes around the school environment / shape hunts.

Google Classroom will be key in developing a communication route and method of sharing Home Learning.
All Year 1 pupils will have been allocated a Google username and password. While in school pupils will be developing skills of accessing the resources and activities in Google Classroom, becoming familiar with using online apps and tools and building independence
