Dear Parents/Carers,

Cyfarthfa Park Primary is now using a totally cashless system for our dinners! ParentPay is a secure, web-based and smartphone compatible system that will allow you to pre-order lunches for your children and pay online – no more scrabbling for coins!

We officially launched the system on Monday 13th January 2020 and activation letters with details on how to access the system along with a secure login and password individual to each child, were sent home with all pupils.

Please note: following the launch of ParentPay, we will only accept cash dinner monies for a short period of time until the system is fully initialised. Following that time, all dinner will need to be ordered and paid for via ParentPay.

Following receipt of your activation letter, if you have any trouble setting up your accounts please do not hesitate to contact the school.

Booking Meals

When booking meals for your children, please be aware that you will only have the option to select a 'packed lunch' or 'school dinner' and not individual menu items. A copy of our school's tri-weekly menu is available both on our Facebook page and on request at either site office.

All meals need to be booked before 8am on the day in question. Any meals booked after this time will not be counted for the day. Additionally, meals cannot be booked unless your account is in credit and you will have 2 hours from the time of booking to pay for your children's meals. If payment is not received after this time, the booking will be cancelled.

Cancelling Meals

You can cancel a booked meal up to 8am on the given day to receive a full refund if your child won't be attending school.

Free School Meals

Children on Free School Meals must still have a dinner option booked for each day, but they will not be charged.

Editing Personal Information

If you need to edit any personal details such as your email address, please log in to ParentPay and go to 'View/Edit Profile'. You can amend information from there.

Additional Family Accounts

If you require another account for a second payer, please contact the school directly. Primary and secondary payers will not be able to see each other's information but will see payments and balances for the children in question.

Merging Family Accounts

If you already have a ParentPay account for another child and want to use it as the 'master' account for all of your children: log in to your account and select 'Add a Child', from here you can enter the additional activation codes for up to 6 children and manage all at once.

PayPoint Cards

Cyfarthfa Park Primary School accepts PayPoint cards for our ParentPay system. To receive a PayPoint barcode, please contact the school. There is no additional charge for using a PayPoint barcode.

Requesting New Activation Codes

All activation codes are unique to each child and cannot be shared or re-used. If you require a new activation code, please contact the school and a letter will be issued to your child.

Communication

We plan to use ParentPay as one of our main sources for communicating with our parents on all aspects of school life. To ensure you are receiving all of our emails please make sure your ParentPay account is activated and alerts are enabled. Click here for guidance on this.
